Alonzo White was the brother of my great-grandmother, Tensie Humphrey. He was born February 15, 1882 on Catfish Lake Road in Croatan, Craven Co., NC. He died in a wreck on February 18, 1928 on the old Cherry Point Road in Craven Co., NC. The newspaper clippings below tell the story of his life and death.
