Aunt Pearlie’s Funeral

These are photos I took when I attended the funeral of Pearlie Simpson at Pate Cemetery near Jasper, NC on January 28, 1975. Aunt Pearlie was the sister of my great-grandmother, Tensie Humphrey. Pearlie Mae White was married to Mack McClain Simpson. She was born January 12, 1891 on Catfish Lake Road in Croatan, Craven Co., NC, and died January 26, 1975 in Havelock, NC.
